OcuPaws is a research group from the University of Sheffield, currently taking part in the BBSRC ICURe Explore programme to evaluate the commercial potential of a novel veterinary eye treatment.

Our mission is to develop a simpler, safer, and more effective way to treat eye infections and injuries in animals. The OcuPaws solution is a dual-action, non-antibiotic eye drop that supports healing and prevents bacterial adhesion,  without irritation or the need for frequent applications.

We’re engaging with vets, pet owners, livestock professionals, and the pharmaceutical industry to ensure our solution meets real-world needs. This work is part of our commitment to advancing animal health through practical, science-led innovation.
